They greeted us with a delicious hot tea and rice candy, making us feel immediately at home. The minimalist concept of the hotel made a lasting impression on us, inspiring us to incorporate it into our own lifestyle. Our cozy room with a futon and tempur-pedic mattress provided a comfortable night's sleep. The highlight of our stay was the indoor open-air bath, which we enjoyed on a cold night. The breakfast prepared by Yoko was a good surprise, with miso soup, grilled fish, omelette, and fresh salad. Yoko even made a special birthday surprise for my daughter. Our encounter at Cyashitsu Ryokan Asakusa was a one-of-a-kind experience that will remain in our happy memories forever. I highly recommend this hotel for its unique minimalist concept and amazing staff.

Wow, what an amazing experience we had at this hotel! The location was perfect, right next to a stunning shrine where we could immerse ourselves in the local culture. Our room was absolutely beautiful, with comfortable futon beds and a relaxing indoor open air bath. The staff went above and beyond, treating us like old friends and even surprising us with a special birthday celebration. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast, with miso soup, grilled fish, and even matcha ice cream! It truly felt like a home away from home.
That the pillows were not very comfortable, but that was easily solved by bringing our own.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right next to the shrine, and we could easily explore the surroundings. The hotel facilities were excellent, especially the open-air bath with a fine view of the city lights. The staff were warm and cute, taking care of us like family members. The traditional breakfast was delicious and filling. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained.
Nothing all excellent.

The onsen experience was one of the best we had in Japan. The cozy and beautiful room had a private bathroom, and the design and decor were soothing and well-done. The location was great, with many restaurants nearby and a peaceful ambiance.
The insulation could have been better, as we could hear noise from the neighboring rooms and the rain on the roof was quite loud. The pillows were not comfortable, so it's advisable to bring your own.
